Llançà, has become a major tourist resort in the North of Costa Brava. A modern hotel and apartment infrastructure together with a wide range of services has contributed to have a high tourist quality. We are surrounded by great National Parks, Aiguamolls de L’Empordà, Parc del Cap de Creus and Illes Medes.

Scuba Diving Centre, 500mt., it offers all the services needed to practise this activity. It offers the service of tank fills and a boat featuring a unique design (hot water showers, lift, etc…) and all the facilities needed to practise this sport.

Hiking is another very important and popular activity which can be experienced in LLANÇÀ, as it features NINE different routes and enjoys the privilege to have two long trail routes that cross our village:

- GR11: it roughly measures 825 Km and 335 Km run along Andorra and Catalunya. The trail runs trough the Spanish Pyrenees and from west to east, it starts in the Bay of Biscay and finishes in Cap de Creus (Mediterranean Sea).

-GR92: It is part of the E-10, the European long distance trails network (From the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean Sea). The Spanish part starts in Portbou, crosses Catalunya, País Valenciano, Murcia and it goes on to Andalucia following the coastline as closely as possible.

From Llançà you can also start a unique MTB adventure, “The TRANSPIRENAICA ROUTE”, solo or in groups. The major MTB Spanish challenge. With an approximate length of 980 Km and a total of 14 stages, the first starting in LLANÇÀ, the last finishing at FUENTERRABIA.

Golf, trekking or parachuting are among the variety of activities the area offers to visitors.

Llançà is an important fishing harbour where you can enjoy the area gastronomic culture.

We are surrounded by ancient monuments like Sant Pere de Roda Monastery or the famous Greek-Roman Empúries settlement.

As to modernity, the spirit of Salvador Dalí hovers over the area. Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, Port Lligat House and Púbol Castle.

Night lovers can enjoy the quiet terraces at moonlight, night bars or casinos. For those who want to relax and enjoy the sea and the beach, there are blue-flagged clean wide beaches and cosy coves.
